Projects we are focusing on

School Chalo Abhiyaan
Women Awareness Camp

In order to develop interest in education in non-school going children, Agraniya organised several camps in New Delhi region. Under this program, children of non-formal educational centres were visited with the objective to bring children into formal schools. The society organised two school children programmes in the year 2022-2023, where 25 children participated. The N.F.E. children were visited in Khoda Makanpur and were introduced to Sirish Public School. Many activities like sharing, discussions, debates, drawing competitions and games were done in each school children programme.

Agraniya organised environment awareness camps in Delhi, amongst un-authorised colonies, constructions in the Jhuggi - Jhopri clusters, an area in which the drainage system nor public conveniences are available. We created awareness about the environment, methods of conservation, disposal or home wastes, preservation and disposal methods, storage of water in the houses, cleanliness of water at local level. Role of greenery (Plantation) in maintenance of parks, plants etc, and effect of environment on human health. Two camps of a day each through which theoretical and practical training were given also motivated youth streetwise and formed their groups to look after the environment problems and guide the slum dwellers.
